Need help coming up with Nerf Party Games?
We have just the thing, a Belly Crawl and Obstacle Course!
These are the perfect Nerf Party Games for your boys birthday party. We recently did this very set-up for our son who happens to love Nerf and it was a HUGE hit with the kids (and the adults too.)
The Belly Crawl
You will need:
- Yarn or Yard String
- Wooden Stakes (18-24”)
- Rubber Mallet
How to put it together:
- Place your stakes about 1-1.5 ft. apart in two rows as we show in the photo. You will want to make sure they are stuck in the ground pretty securely, but that you also have enough clearance for the kids to crawl through without too much issue. (Younger kids may tend to raise their heads up into the string. Our son did just this.)
- Using your yarn or string, start at the first stake and tie off tightly. Then proceed to wrap the string in a zig-zag pattern from stake to stake between the two rows until you have connected all of them. You may find it beneficial to wrap the string or yarn around each stake a few times to keep it secure. The stakes are rough enough to grab at the string so this does help with making sure it stays in place.
- Once you are satisfied with how it looks, tie off your string or yarn tightly.
- You can also place a target on a stake at the end of the belly crawl for kids to come up and aim for after they get through.
The Tunnel
You will need:
- Pool Noodles
- Wooden Stakes (18-24”)
- Rubber Mallet
How to put it together:
- Place your stakes about 2-3 ft. apart in two rows as we show in the photo. You will want to make sure they are stuck in the ground pretty securely.
- Using your pool nodles, place the hole on one end over top of one stake and the other end over top of the adjoining stake to form an arch. Repeat this for all the stakes and noodles to form your tunnel.
- You can also place a target on a stake at the end of the tunnel for kids to come up and aim for after they get through.
So what do you say? Think these will be a hit at your Nerf Birthday Party?
